Although Lindsley Waterproofing does offer state-of-the-art waterproofing & drainage systems for the construction of new homes, we are not often hired to install them. Our systems are well above and beyond local code requirements. That usually puts our price over the budgets of most builders. It’s difficult, if not impossible, for a builder to single himself out to go above and beyond the minimum code requirements that everyone else is adhering to, and still be able to build competitively priced houses.

 

Consequently……

 

Over 95% of our business is ‘retrofit’ (going back and re-doing original systems that failed). Over half of these failed systems are less than 10 years old; 30% are less than 3 years old, and many are brand new. Almost all of the failed systems that we replace were originally installed in complete compliance with local building codes, and all of them had to pass an inspection.

 

How can that be?
