Lindsley Waterproofing has been providing waterproofing services to residents and businesses in the Raleigh and Durham areas of North Carolina since 1994. We provide many services for new & existing structures to both repair and prevent structural water damage.
As structures age, their protection from surface and below-grade ground-water weakens – especially if it wasn’t done well. Good protection usually has to be well above code-minimum requirements. A small amount of water can do a lot of damage even before the water is to the point that it’s readily detected
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to make available to the public a company that will honestly assess the individual needs of homeowners (and their houses) without their having to be exposed to the ordeal of a ‘pitch session’ with a salesperson (who’s #1 interest is his/her commission).
Our work is usually related to aspects of houses about which very few people are well informed—many are very misinformed. This makes most homeownersvulnerable to the high pressure, sometimes even scare tactics, of unscrupulous companies preying on their fears and ignorance in this field.
First, we provide people with a wealth of information pertaining to their particular circumstances; next, we offer approaches (often several) to addressing their particular problems; and then, we advise the homeowner which option we would choose if the property were ours. We’ll gladly discuss the ‘pros & cons’ of all options. We don’t have a ‘pet procedure, or procedures’ that we like to recommend because of our best interests. “Our ‘specialty’ is diversity.”

Company History
Lindsley Waterproofing is a locally owned family business located in Durham, NC. After working for another waterproofing company that is now closed, Jim and Renee Lindsley opened Lindsley Waterproofing in 1994. Their desire to provide better service and more diversity to the people in the Triangle Area has kept the company going strong.
When the Lindsley's started the business, they had a slightly dilapidated Ford Bronco, a couple of shovels, a wheelbarrow, and a lot of ‘know how’ & determination; and they were working alone, out of their West Durham home. In 2000, the business had outgrown the ‘home base’; so they built an office/warehouse on the east side of Durham, NC; and have been operating in East Durham since.
